Well, today has been a long day.
But sometimes you just gotta roll with it.

Grateful.
Today, I am grateful.
Recently, my mom has had some health issues and it has been kind of scary at some points. But she is okay. And I am so thankful for that.
Also, I am grateful for the scriptures.
Last night I was reading in Alma 38 and it touched my heart. In verse 5, Alma says,
We all experience the trials, troubles, and afflictions that Alma mentions here. But if we trust in the Lord (as it says in Proverbs 3:5-6), we will find the comfort that we need and we will be delivered. He will not leave us comfortless (John 14:18).
Our Father in Heaven loves each and every one of us. He wants us to turn to Him in our times of need and know that He will always give us the strength and comfort that we need if we ask for it.
I am grateful for a Heavenly Father who is so mindful of me.
I am grateful for the Plan of Salvation that allows us to repent and to feel comfort and happiness, even in our darkest times.
I am grateful for the people that our Father in Heaven has placed in my life to help me.
I am grateful for the lessons that He allows me to learn.
I am grateful for the scriptures and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Comedy. Rugby. Sunburn.
We had an awesome weekend!
Friday night we went to ComedySportz. It's an improv comedy show, and it is definitely worth it! We had so much fun.
Then Saturday we got up way too early (for me, at least) to go to the National Rugby Championship games. We saw UVU lose to Washington, a Utah high school team beat out an Arizona team, and then we got to see BYU win! It was tons of fun. And it was like 80 degrees! I was one happy girl.
We got to go with some of Ian's mission buddies... Juan, Ryan, and Drew.
And of course we had to get a picture in front of the stadium... With Ryan.
And then one of just the two of us.
Too bad the 80 degree weather and beaming sun gave us sunburns! I'm still red from Saturday. But... A tan is coming, so I'll survive.
Tonight is date night at Joe Vera's restaurant in downtown Provo for Cinco de Mayo! Can't wait! Happy Monday, friends.

We decided to go see a rooftop concert... We still don't know the name of the band, but it was fun.
Then we finished Friday night off with some ice cream from Rita's. It was so good!

Oh, Friday.
Woah.
Today really got me. Already finished with work and completely forgot to update my blog.
Oops.
Time to hang out with my hubby! Happy Friday, everyone!

School, School, School. Work, Work, Work.
The hubs started school again this week, but luckily he's only taking one class. We are both working non-stop (at least that's what it feels like).
Just two and a half more weeks until we get a mini vacation to see our families!
I can do this.
