DIY.

I have mentioned my addiction for DIY projects before. It has gotten worse now after a little craft that I did.

Sorry, no pictures of the finished project right now... I'll post one later, promise!

Right now, I'll just give you the low-down on how to do it.

1. Think of an awesome quote/song that you want to hang in your house. For my first project, I used a quote from President Monson. It says, "Shall I falter or shall I finish?"

2. Go to picmonkey.com and click on "design".

3. Create your text with cute font and pretty decorations. Here's a .jpg of mine (yes, you can use it if you love it as much as I do).

4. Buy a double-paned (see-through) picture frame. And some printable vellum. I got both of mine at Hobby Lobby for $16 (8 x 10 picture frame and 30 sheets of vellum).

5. Crop and print your picture onto your vellum.

6. Cut your paper down to a good size.

7. Put it in the frame and hang it up!

I love the way it looks when it's all completed. I plan to do more of these in the (very) near future! Here are just a couple more of the designs that I've made.

These ones are the lyrics from God Gave Me You that will soon be hanging in our bedroom!

UPDATE: HERE'S MY COMPLETED PROJECT (sorry for the picture quality).

Now I am just waiting for the perfect old dresser to refinish....
