Crossroads.

Is now a time to get moving?

Is now a time when you should be immovable?

I have been struggling to find the right answer to these questions lately. How can anyone truly know that they are where they are supposed to be or that they need to make a change?

Since I have a hard time deciphering if my decisions are influenced by God or just by my own selfish desires, I find myself at a crossroads all too often. But today I realized that maybe that's exactly what I should do.

When I come to a crossroads and I no longer know where to go, I choose to listen carefully for that still small voice that will guide me.

See, there are things that can "block" our understanding and make us unable to see what our next move should be.

First, consider your sin. Sin is a barrier to our progression; we cannot press forward until we repent and choose to follow the Savior. Second, take a look at your doubt. Doubt (and fear) come from the adversary. The Lord does not need to coerce us to do things; He does not need to scare us into following Him. His love for us is what motivates us to Him. Satan will guilt us into things, scare us into things, and manipulate us to choose the wrong path. Do not let sin or doubt get in the way of your righteous desires that come in the timing of the Lord.

Know that in order to progress and learn, we must be willing to stretch. We will be put to our limits, tested and tried, but we can come out knowing that our experiences have led us to right where the Lord would have us be.

You can do hard things. Trust the Lord and know that He will guide you, even when you are feeling lost.

He is omniscient; He knows everything.
He is omnipotent; He has all power.
He is omnipresent; He is always there, even when we cannot see or feel Him.

He will help you to succeed, and do all that is required of you. When you come to a crossroads, do not fear. Be confident and follow the promptings of the Lord.
