A Person to be Loved.

Creating a blog was not something I was really looking into. Sure, I love to write. Sure, I love to share my thoughts and ideas. But so many thoughts came crashing in as soon as I entertained the idea of starting a blog...

I don't have the time. I don't have anything to say. My words will never be influential enough to matter.

But I couldn't shake the thought, so I went with it. As I was creating my blog, it became painfully obvious that I am just not cut out for this when I realized that I didn't even have a name. The simplest part of the entire blog process...

After coming up empty-handed, I went to my handy-dandy phone. Just the week before in Relief Society, I typed up a note with the quote from Thomas S. Monson, "Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved."

Now that's powerful stuff.

The words started flowing, and everything fell into place. Once I came up with the name, I realized that my words do matter, at least to one person: Heavenly Father. He doesn't care how many people read my blog, but He does care about me.

Through this process, I have learned that there are few things that are greater than love. No amount of technology, no amount of talent, no amount of education, etc. will ever add up to be "enough" (whatever that means). But love is always enough. We have the privilege of being able to know the complete, perfect love of our Heavenly Father and of His Son, Jesus Christ, for us. And we can also know that the Atonement of Christ covers everything. He understands exactly how we feel. Every tear, every pain, every struggle-- it's all understood by Christ. He has been there. He has suffered for each and every one of us.

He loves us. And He does care about us.
